If the battery is to be stored and not in use for an extended period of time (more than 3 weeks)

• Battery should never be stored fully charged
• Battery should never be stored fully discharge
• Battery should be stored in the 40%-80% range

If the battery is regularly used

• It is ok to leave the battery 100% charged
• Battery should never be left fully discharged
  • At the end of a shoot if battery is fully depleted it should be put on a charger to get at least a small charge into the battery. Even 5%-10% is better than 0%
• It is ok to leave battery on charger overnight or for a few days. But is not necessary.
• Battery should not be stored attached to any devices.
• Battery will go into storage mode and shut off LCD screen automatically after sitting dormant to prevent the battery from self discharge.
  • Battery can manually be put in storage mode by holding LED backlight button for 15-20 seconds.
  • Battery can be awakened from storage mode by pressing LED backlight button.
